Insurance payments that were going unclaimed
The platform was entitled to insurance payments that it was not claiming. I found the unused payment insurance flow by reading the legacy code and documentation and asking colleagues how it was meant to work.
I implemented the flow so those insurance payments could be claimed. Putting that existing entitlement into use contributed nearly $5M in additional revenue.
Payment-provider integrations and updates
I built payment-provider integrations using .NET Web API and gRPC. I also developed an automated payment method update platform using SQL Server queues and .NET Web API.
Moving business logic out of SQL Server
I moved business logic from legacy SQL Server code into backend services.
Supporting the team
After several senior engineers left the team, I mentored three junior developers alongside my payment and backend work.
